I'm tired of crying

I went to my doctor yesterday. She's put me on a low-dose, non-addictive, take-as-you-need sleeping pill. The idea is that if my body can get used to sleeping again, instead of this lying around in bed for two hours then waking up once an hour crap (and I don't even have a baby to show for it!) under control, I'll be better able to handle the stress and anxiety I'm having during the day. Which would be really nice because this crying at work thing? Gotta stop.

Awww...I do feel for you. Know how that is. You're not the only one who cries at work though. Doing a pretty darn good job that right now myself.

When I have trouble sleeping I take a Bear with me. Just to let you know, you are not alone. I was trying to read a journal article in the middle of the library the other day and was continously staring at the ceiling to stop tears. People already think I'm insane so that was fine. I hope the sleeping helps you- maybe sleeping plus a Bear, or a kitty, will give you sleep with pleasant nice dreams where you find out there's a freezer in the basement filled with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. I'm still waiting for that dream.

*many Bears hugs from all the Bears*

We hope you get wonderful sleep, with lots of pleasant dreams. And that you wake up feeling rested and happy.

And like Leone said, take a Bear to bed with you--we're great at snuggling and keeping humoos company.

Aww, pumpkin. I hope sleeping helps make things better. There is a reason they use sleep deprivation as torture!

I'm sorry you're feeling so crappy right now, and I hope this helps you get back into some semblance of normality.

Jenn said, because she's forgotten her stupid password again, that you should consider a VERY low 25mg dose of Elavil at bedtime. It IS an antidepressant AND helps you achieve the deep REM cycle sleep and stay there. First week's a drag, but after that it's MUUUUCH better. AND, for me, helps with all the constant little hurts of Lupus.

I'm sorry. =(

Insomnia and I go way back. I know how much it sucks.

Hope your new little pills work to help you sleep, and that you consequently feel better.

I think Leone said it better than I could. I haven't taken a Bear with me in a while, but for a short period, I did hug a Sully bear (from Monsters Inc), just for something in my arms.

I could lend you Sully...

Ugh. Sleep deprivation can turn your world upside-down.

I think you'll feel at least 95% better when you're back to sleeping full nights.

Insomnia bloody sucks. I can totally understand why it would bring you to tears. Here's hoping this is the solution!

Hey doll...haven't visited in a bit...glad to hear your friend is okay and I hope you get some sleep soon. I know the feeling if it helps. I haven't slept properly in about 8 years it seems.

Look after you first...warm baths and a good regular sleep habits will help a lot. Not sleeping can really make you feel desperate. Take care of yourself and lots of hugs.
