New Stuff!

Added my noirbettie award (squee!) and re-added a weight-loss ticker majiggy down there at the bottom.

I've finished the scarf (it's amazing what 3 days at home sick can get you done when you only have just enough energy to sit up in bed and knit). It will be modelled for photo purposes (by me when I'm not looking quite so warmed-over) then given to the wee girl for whom it is intended. Now I'm having a little conversation with myself about all of the cross-stitch projects I have to finish before I can start stocking up on knitting stuff. I think I'm officially addicted.

Right now I'm working on the ritual for Imbolc (also known as Candlemas and Groundhog Day [wink]) for this weekend. Instead of doing a craft as we usually do, we're sharing poetry (either our own or something that speaks to us). It's the first time I've been the lead on a ritual. I'm pretty darn excited, let me tell you.

I left a comment and it didn't show!

Poop. Oh well, it was about how on my walk today I saw a poster on the board at the Post Office, about a local Imbolg ritual. And I knew it was the same thing you were doing!

Yay!
